The Gulf Coast Region Coordinated Regional Public Transportation Plan was submitted to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in December, 2006. Since that time, the steering committee has been meeting on an Ad Hoc basis to work on the implementation of the recommended pilot projects.
